"Summer Days" Melting Icy Pole Resin Sculpture

Summer Days is a nostalgic and playful sculpture collection I created for an exhibition in which it won First Prize in the Sculpture Category.  It invites the viewer to reminisce on the carefree days of childhood summers. The life size resin icy poles appear as though they are melting on the table, capturing the familiar sight of a sticky and sweet treat in vibrant, playful colours. Through this sculpture, you are invited to reconnect with the joy and freedom of youth - running under the sprinkler to cool off, jumping on trampolines, and enjoying the simple pleasures of life. Summer Days serves as a reminder of the beauty and simplicity of those bygone days, and lures us to revel in those memories once again.
